Don't Know Where to Start?
Current courses are curated in a way that, from our experience, most effectively traverses topical trajectory in neuroscience. We suggest starting with Developmental Neurobiology to gain an overview of nervous system formation and very basic neuroanatomy, then proceeding to Neurons and Transmission to learn how information in the brain is transmitted cell-to-cell. After, we suggest delving into Systems Neuroscience for how the basic senses--like vision, hearing, and motor--are organized. Next, try out Social and Affective Neuroscience, which emphasizes the neural basis of higher-order processes, such as empathy and decision-making.

Lessons in each topic are numbered, and we suggest moving through them chronologically. We do not recommend jumping from lesson to lesson randomly, as pertinent information will be lost, and you will feel lost. However, if you already have some background in neuroscience and want to polish up basic knowledge on a specific topic, feel free to jump between courses.
